Email has made life easy in a way that could not have been imagined a hundred years ago. Even twenty years ago, the best we had was fax, and not everyone could afford it. These days, all you need is access to a computer console to receive correspondence sent your way by your professor a million miles away, probably only a minute before. That’s distance education at its newest, and it is still going places.
